The coveted title of US Downhill National Champion and honor of wearing the Stars & Stripes sleeve are up for the taking at Round 4 of the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series presented by Continental. The brightest stars in USDH take to the track at Snow Summit Bike Park in Big Bear Lake, CA for the 2025 U.S. Downhill National Championships.
Junior World Champ and defending US National Champ, Asa Vermette, is in attendance alongside Luca Shaw, Austin Dooley, Dakotah Norton and Ryan Pinkerton, as the current series overall point leaders Aaron Gwin & Dante Silva arrive in California with poise and building confidence from their results this season.
Two time National Champion, Kailey Skelton sits well out in the lead of the series overall, and will battle the likes of Aleatha Ostgaard, Maylei Leaneagh, Isabella Naughton, Taylor Ostgaard and Matilda Melton for the National Title.
With deep history in American Downhill dating back to the late nineties, this iconic venue has hosted the early rounds of the National Championships series, as well as World Cup races. The track is very physical, with a healthy mix of fast flowy sprints - deep, raw, dusty and loose terrain and a fan-favorite supercross inspired finish.
